Working with plant dyes is a very satisfyng process. From filing the tea bags with plant material and stiring the vats of beeswax. I watch as the colors start to infuse into the wax, trailing streams of color with each stir.
There are many plants to use in the process of natural dying. After experiement I get with lots of different plants dyes I found more ease in working with less to achieve more. I am able to get the full spectrum of color with just two plants, Alkanet and indigo. Since the beeswax is naturally a beautiful bright yellow. I am able to achieve a full spectrum of color.
